In order to have a healthy line of dogs and a good foundation
for our breeding program we occassionally will choose a dog from another Kennel line to add to our kennel. This process
take hours of research to ensure that the added linage of dogs are healthy and have the qualities we find most important.
We feel we have found that in Tessa's breeder OwyheeStar Weimaraners. They place the same emphasis on health and raise
pups in the home and underfoot as we do. They have years of experience in breeding and were very helpful with our research.
We in fact have recommended them as a breeder to some of our clients from the West coast as the distance to reach us is sometimes
too great and too costly.
We know first hand the cost invovled as we flew out to pick her and spent some time
with her breeders learning some field training tips.
Tessa is a bird crazy pup and has great manners and style - we sought a blue pup
with show quality and field background as we hope for a dual title in her future.
As Tessa grows and develops we will post pictures and new of her progress here.
